Throughout our OTS we made are casting choices relevant to the roles within the OTS. We took into account the stereotypical types of male and female. We made our casting choices as stated below as we believed this will keep the audience engaged as we haven't gone for the typical stereotypical characters/personalities.
We believed Chloe was good for the role of being the Organ Reaper's second hand man. Even though she is a female and stereotypically females are shown as weak, vulnerable and innocent character's we believed she would be good as it would keep the audience engaged and get into the audiences heads (phycological). We believe Chloe has simular features as Chloe Grace Mortez from The 5th Wave as shown in the picture above Chloe is shown with a gun which is unusual for a female character she is shown as dominant and aggressive which is shown through the use of her body language and the gun she is holding. Throughout our OTS Chloe is represented as a dominant, aggressive character who works alongside The Organ Reaper picking out his victims.
We believed Tyler was good for the role of the Organ Reaper this is because we believed he fitted the stereotypical male. He is shown as dominant, aggressive and powerful throughout the OTS. We believed Tyler looks simular to Chang out of Community. Even though he is not a horror character we believe he has simular features. Chang is not the typical male character which makes the audience second guess the nature of Chang. We also believed that Chang was a perfect match for Tyler as they are the same race, we believed that this showed diversity.
