In the days before color television, chocolate syrup was the perfect solution to the problem of making fake blood. On a black and white screen, chocolate syrup looked just like real blood. Even though nowadays we can tell the difference, chocolate syrup is still an important ingredient in making fake blood edible.

Above you can see the video we made testing our bloods we made. From the two recipes we used we belive that the second recipe was the best and most realistic. Using chocolate syrup and golden syrup made the blood mixture more condense and gloppy. We found using this recipe would be good to use when coughing up insides (organs/tissue).
